Our Ethos
"Maison Dalabua" is a treasured property that has been in my family for generations.
It is located in the heart of Luang Prabang, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1995, and is surrounded by three beautiful lily ponds.
My mother, Phiew, was born in Luang Prabang in 1930 and grew up as the eldest of three children. Her parents were shop owners who also worked at the Royal Palace, where her father was responsible for organizing royal ceremonies while also working as a goldsmith.
At Maison Dalabua, we honor the traditions and spirit of "Maman Phiew" by sharing the authentic Lao hospitality that she and her family were known for. Our focus is on preserving the heritage of Lao culture and sharing it with our guests.

Room Guidelines
CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
The check-in time is 14:00, check-out at 12:00.
We request you to vacate your room by 12:00 noon on the day of departure.
For early check-out, please inform us at least the day before your departure.
Breakfast box is available upon request the day before
SMOKING POLICY
In order to create a comfortable environment for all guests, smoking in the rooms is prohibited.
Maison Dalabua hotel reserves the right to assess a $200 USD room recovery fee to guests who do not comply in order to cover the cost of restoring the room to a smoke-free condition. We kindly ask you to

INTERNET
High speed internet connection is available in every room and all around the property.
Please note that in Luang Prabang the electrical system does not perform well.

A variety of local products is available at our boutique located at the reception
CHILLING YOUR ROOM
You will find the Air Conditioning remote control in the box provided on the desk. The temperature is set up at 25 degrees. Please take note that if the temperature is set up under 22 degrees the engine will start to freeze and flow water.
IN CASE OF RAIN
For your convenience, we provide two umbrellas in the room.
If you need any additional ones just let us know. Please note any loss will be charged to your hotel bill.
TURN DOWN
From 18:00 onwards our team will refresh your room for the night.
DO NOT DISTURB SIGN
If you do not wish to be disturbed, please do not forget to put the sign on your room door.

PAYMENT TERMS
Should you wish to pay your bill by credit card please note a 3% banking fee of the total amount will be applied. We accept Visa or MasterCard and Alipay exclusively.

A safe is located in the closet for your disposal.
WASH YOUR CLOTHES
The laundry basket is located in the closet. Should you wish us to do your laundry please fully fill out the paper form provided in the basket. Otherwise you can call directly the reception and we will send our team to pick up your laundry. Price is $7 USD per kilo
BALCONY AND WINDOW RULES
It is strictly forbidden to hang clothes outside on the balcony or by the window.
Gaspard Artisan Cuisine is set in a UNESCO classified two-storey wooden house with an outside garden terrace.
Our chef creates fine recipes that celebrate the quality and flavours of French cuisine by using seasonal ingredients carefully handpicked at the market of Luang Prabang.
Gaspard definitely has a "je ne sais quoi ".
